Mextures is a paid texture and photo-editing product from Diomater for photographers, designers, filmmakers, and other visual creatives. Its focus is layered JPEG texture overlays rather than a broad general-purpose texture library. The collection covers grain, dust, light leaks, gradients, and film effects, while film presets, LUT-based color grades, and editing controls extend the product beyond individual overlay files. Mextures supports Windows, macOS, and iOS, with compatible workflows in layer-capable editors.

The purchase options span individual packs and broader access. The X-Film Overlay Pack costs $10 as a one-time purchase and includes 11 high-resolution overlays at 4000 x 4000 pixels with an unlimited commercial license. The Mextures Yearly Membership costs $89 per year and includes all Mextures products during the subscription, along with overlay and color-grade packs released during that period. The Mextures Lifetime Membership costs $139 as a one-time purchase, adds future overlay and color-grade packs, and avoids a yearly subscription. There is no free plan, so the right choice depends on whether a single pack or continuing access fits the project.

Its strongest fit is for editors who want non-destructive control over stacked effects. Adjustable layers, blending modes, opacity controls, one-tap formulas, and formula sharing support repeatable creative workflows, while the Photoshop Console plugin and compatibility with Photoshop, Pixelmator, Affinity Photo, and other layer-capable editors broaden desktop use. Integrations also include Adobe Lightroom, Final Cut Pro, and Procreate. The iOS app is a separate product channel, and desktop purchases do not unlock its in-app purchases. Choose Mextures for layered overlays and film-oriented adjustments; choose an alternative if the priority is a wider general texture collection or one purchase covering desktop and iOS access.
