Mediacom Business Cloud Voice is a cloud-hosted VoIP phone system for small businesses using the Mediacom Business network. Administration and end-user management take place through a web portal. The service combines business internet, phone seats, Poly E350 phones, long-distance minutes, Wi-Fi, and data security in its listed packages. Core phone capabilities include hunt groups, call pickup groups, call forwarding, voicemail, voicemail-to-email, conferencing, and instant messaging. Additional seats can be added as a business grows.

Pricing is structured around bundled connectivity rather than phone service alone. Cloud Voice Business 300 costs $129.99 per month and includes Business Internet 300, one basic seat, one enhanced seat with voicemail, two Poly E350 phones, 10K long-distance minutes, Wi-Fi, and data security. Cloud Voice Internet 1 Gig costs $159.99 per month with 1 Gig internet and the same phone and included-service package. Cloud Voice Internet 2 Gig costs $209.99 per month with 2 Gig internet and the same inclusions. The packages require a two-seat minimum and a three-year contract; the 2 Gig plan is not available in all areas.

The strongest fit is a small business that wants internet and a straightforward hosted phone system from one provider, with 24/7 phone support and web-based administration. Basic routing, call groups, forwarding, voicemail, messaging, and conferencing cover common office workflows. The trade-offs are important for teams with more complex communications needs: access is web-only, routing is basic, and integrations are not provided. Businesses that need broader platform connectivity, more advanced routing, or a shorter commitment should choose a different phone system. Mediacom Business Cloud Voice makes the most sense when its bundled internet plans align with the business’s connectivity needs.
