MasterLapse is a cloud-based timelapse system for long-running construction, building and landscape projects. An Android phone can work as a standalone camera or control a compatible DSLR or mirrorless camera over USB PTP. The service schedules interval captures from 10 seconds, uploads images to the cloud over Wi‑Fi or 4G/5G, and provides a web dashboard and gallery for remote monitoring. It is suited to solo operators and small or mid-market teams that need continuing visibility into a camera installation rather than occasional interval photography.

Published plans are billed monthly per view. Hobby costs €8 per view and includes 5 GB of storage, 5k one-time bonus credits, 1080p output, DSLR and phone camera support, and unlimited views. Plus costs €22 per view, raising storage to 100 GB and bonus credits to 20k while keeping 1080p output. Pro costs €39 per view, with 250 GB, 100k bonus credits, 4K output, RAW capture, project sharing and unlimited views. Extra Storage adds 50 GB to a specific view for €8 per month; Extra Rendering Credits cost €3 per 10,000 credits and do not expire. A 30-day trial is available, and beta access is invite-based.

The operational feature set is strongest when a camera must keep working through unreliable connectivity. Offline capture uploads when service returns, while alarms flag weak signal, low battery, power-off and overheating. Cloud rendering reaches 4K with frame-rate control, and phone capture supports JPEG, DNG RAW and HDR. Buyers should choose MasterLapse when Android-based field control, remote DSLR access and cloud oversight match their workflow. Those needing a different device platform, unsupported camera connection or a free ongoing plan should consider another service.
