Masteriyo LMS is a WordPress plugin for educators, coaches, organizations, and agencies that want to create and sell courses from their own WordPress websites. Its course tools cover drag-and-drop authoring, text, video, live-stream, PDF, audio, and assignment lessons, along with quizzes, certificates, enrollment, progress tracking, content drip, and prerequisites. It is best suited to WordPress creators who want control over their site and a broad LMS foundation without starting with a paid license.

The free plan is unusually substantial for an entry point: it includes unlimited courses, lessons, and quizzes, a drag-and-drop builder, certificate creation, an order system, multi-currency pricing, and Stripe, PayPal, and WooCommerce support. Basic starts at $99 per site per year and adds unlimited students, AI course creation, live lessons, premium ticket support, and quiz and certificate tools. Pro is $149 per site per year and adds assignments, a gradebook, learner tracking, multiple instructors, webhooks, and API access. Elite is $399 per site per year, adding white label and priority support. Lifetime Elite plans cost $499 for one site or $1,299 for 10 sites, with lifetime access and support and no renewals.

Masteriyo also connects with payment, page-building, classroom, video, and email tools including Mollie, Lemon Squeezy, Razorpay, Elementor, Bricks Builder, Divi, Beaver Builder, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom, Mailchimp, and MailerLite. Migration from other LMS plugins, REST API access, webhooks, and bulk CSV enrollment support broader WordPress workflows. The trade-off is platform coverage: Masteriyo runs on WordPress hosting, and there is no dedicated learner mobile app, although the site is responsive on mobile. Choose it for a self-hosted WordPress course business; consider another platform if you need a hosted LMS or a shipped mobile app.
