Mashq Learn is a self-paced Arabic calligraphy program for learners who want structured handwriting practice, not spoken-Arabic lessons. It works on the web and pairs screen-based activities with printable sheets and A4 booklets. The course covers five scripts, with 43 lessons arranged across six levels in each. Lessons move through tracing, writing inside a hollow letter, copying a model and writing from memory, making the focus specific: learning to form Arabic letters with greater control.

Its practice feedback is central to the offering. Mashq measures letter height, position on the line and slant, while learners can scan practice sheets with a device camera. Narrated lesson films are in Arabic and English for Ruq'ah, Naskh and Diwani. On supported plans, weak letters return for targeted practice. This combination suits learners who value handwriting drills and visible form checks; it is less suited to anyone seeking conversation, pronunciation or broad language instruction.

The free Mashq Free plan includes Level 1 of all five scripts, plus practice sheets and printable A4 booklets. Mashq Smart unlocks all 43 lessons in one script and adds measurement and practice scores. Smart Coach covers all five scripts, adds weak-letter practice and Mashq Studio downloads. Mashq Family packages Smart Coach for four people with a weekly progress summary. Other options bundle a physical calligraphy kit or a monthly group class and two written corrections each month with Smart Coach features. Choose Mashq Learn for focused calligraphy study; look elsewhere if spoken Arabic is the priority.
