Masa CMS is an open-source enterprise content management platform for organizations managing websites, intranets and mobile applications. It combines configurable content types and content modelling with WYSIWYG editing, drag-and-drop page composition, approval chains, publishing workflows and group-based permissions. Headless content delivery and REST or JSON APIs support websites, applications and other channels, while multiple sites can run within one installation. Teams can deploy it on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or their own infrastructure.

The pricing structure starts with Masa CMS itself as free open-source software. The paid options are annual support, consultancy, training and MASA Cloud packages rather than proprietary software licenses. Adhoc includes development, consultancy and training with a best-effort planned response. Commited adds a one-business-day response time. Premium includes one MASA Cloud production environment, plus 24/7 monitoring and incident handling. Advanced includes two MASA Cloud environments with the same 24/7 monitoring and incident handling. This gives teams a choice between self-managed open-source deployment and support or managed-cloud arrangements.

Content operations are the platform's strongest fit. Approval chains, publishing workflows, administrator permissions and site bundles support structured publishing and deployment, while headless delivery keeps content available across multiple channels. The scope is more focused than a broad enterprise ECM suite: AI features are absent, verified audit logs are not included in the published feature set, and deeper document-governance requirements may call for another product. Masa CMS suits open-source teams that want control over architecture, content models and deployment; organizations prioritizing advanced governance or AI-assisted content work should look elsewhere.
