MANUS Core is desktop middleware for MANUS data gloves, built for robotics, motion-capture studios, VR/XR, research and live performance workflows. It visualizes finger movement, calibrates hand skeletons, records and exports glove data, and streams sensor, skeleton and retargeted motion data. The software supports body and positional tracking workflows, including full-body solves and virtual-character retargeting. It runs on Windows 10/11 64-bit and does not offer a free plan.

Its plan structure is organized around workflow depth and ecosystem access. MANUS Core 3 includes recording and export to FBX and CSV, streaming to MotionBuilder, Unity and Unreal Engine, and support for up to 8 actors. The SDK Access plan adds a C++ SDK, a Linux-compatible integrated core option and Metagloves Pro sensor data access. Core 3 + XR adds ESI IC.IDO, Siemens Teamcenter, OpenXR and Autodesk VRED integrations, while the Xsens, Optical and Noraxon plans target specific motion-capture and analysis environments.

The main strength is breadth: MANUS Core connects hand solving and glove data with Unity, Unreal Engine, MotionBuilder, Xsens MVN, OptiTrack Motive, Qualisys QTM, Noraxon MR4 and other platforms. Recording, playback, triggered recording, FBX and CSV export, and real-time output support production pipelines as well as live workflows. The trade-off is a Windows-centered desktop application with advanced capabilities distributed across specialized plans. Choose MANUS Core when enterprise sensor integration, hand solving and retargeting are central requirements; teams seeking a lightweight standalone tracker or a free option should look elsewhere.
