Maktabkhooneh review
A Persian-language course marketplace pairing university lessons with skills-focused learning.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Maktabkhooneh is a Persian-language online course marketplace for learners seeking recorded university lessons, educational event videos, and practical skills courses. Its subject range includes programming, IT, languages, business, finance, engineering, and arts. Learners can browse or search the catalog, then choose between individual courses and subscription access where eligible. That blend suits people who want academic material alongside shorter, career-oriented learning, rather than a marketplace centered on one discipline or format.
Course participation extends beyond watching video: available activities include quizzes and assessments, project work, course discussion and Q&A, and contacting instructors for guidance. Eligible course completions can receive certificates. Maktab-Plus offers access to eligible course videos and quizzes, while individual course purchases provide another route into the catalog. The published information does not give a clear subscription price, so buyers comparing total cost should check the current offer before choosing between subscription and individual purchase. Organizational training and learning paths also make the service relevant to teams that want tailored online learning.
Platform coverage includes the web and Android, with cloud and mobile deployment listed. That gives Android learners an app option, while the listed platform coverage does not include iOS. Maktabkhooneh is a stronger fit for Persian-speaking learners who value university lecture recordings, structured skills courses, and activities beyond video; organizations may also consider its tailored training service. Learners who need an iOS app or primarily seek courses in another language should look elsewhere. The freemium model allows free access, but individual course prices and subscription access should be assessed against the specific courses a learner needs.
