Luma Speak review
A mobile Hindi tutor focused on personalized conversation and speaking practice.

Luma Speak is a mobile app for learning Hindi through guided lessons, roleplay scenarios, and open conversation with an AI tutor. It suits learners who want to practice speaking in context, including complete beginners: the Hindi course starts at that level and shows Romanization alongside Devanagari. Conversation difficulty adjusts to the learner, and sessions support both speech and text, so it can serve learners who want interactive practice rather than a course centered only on static lessons.
Its strongest distinction is the practice loop around conversation. Learners can receive corrections in the transcript with brief explanations, tap words for meanings, and save vocabulary. Quick drills and vocabulary review draw on missed words, while captions let learners replay conversation lines. Custom conversations can reflect learner goals. Together, these features connect speaking practice with vocabulary review, instead of treating them as separate activities. The Free plan includes basic Learn mode, limited vocabulary practice and speaking drills, and AI conversation trials. Plus adds unlimited vocabulary practice, adaptive Learn mode, unlimited speaking drills, and limited AI conversations. Max includes Plus features, unlimited AI conversations, no daily conversation limits, and full personalization.
Luma Speak is available on iOS and Android, so its fit is strongest for learners who are comfortable practicing on a phone or tablet; it is not a desktop option. A seven-day trial is described for the yearly plan, while the app also has a continuing Free plan. Subscription prices appear in the mobile app and vary by local currency, making the plan features clearer than the cost before opening the app. Choose Luma Speak if personalized Hindi conversation, corrections, and repeatable speaking drills are central to your study. A learner who needs desktop access or wants to compare subscription prices before installing should consider another option.
