Linkwarden is an open-source bookmark manager for collecting, organizing, reading, annotating, and preserving webpages, articles, and documents. It fits teams and individuals that need more than saved URLs, particularly when full-page preservation, searchable archives, shared collections, and self-hosting matter. Browser extensions support Chromium, Firefox, and Safari, while official iOS and Android apps extend access beyond the web interface.
The published plans show two hosted options. Cloud Monthly costs $4 per user per month with monthly billing, while Cloud Yearly costs $3 per user per month with annual billing. Both are hosted by Linkwarden and include full-page preservation, full-text search, highlights and annotations, RSS feeds, and automatic updates. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. The paid structure is straightforward for teams choosing hosted service, with the annual option providing the lower listed monthly rate.
Linkwarden’s strongest distinction is the breadth of its preservation and organization workflow. It supports reader views, highlights, annotations, collections, sharing, collaboration, RSS feeds, bookmark imports and exports, and AI-powered tagging. API access uses access tokens, and Floccus is listed as an integration. The combination of hosted cloud service and self-hosted software gives organizations a choice of deployment model, while mobile apps and browser extensions support capture and reading across platforms. Choose Linkwarden when preserving complete pages and building a collaborative, searchable archive are central requirements. A simpler bookmark tool may be a better fit for people who only need basic link saving or prefer a free plan.
