Lightspeed365 is an employee intranet platform built inside a customer’s Microsoft 365 tenant. It is designed for organizations that want SharePoint-based employee communications, self-service content, people search, handbooks, alerts, and branded navigation. News can be targeted to employee groups and scheduled, while the directory uses profiles from Microsoft Entra ID. Employees can access the intranet through the web, Microsoft Teams, and mobile devices.

Its Microsoft ecosystem fit is the central consideration. Lightspeed365 works with SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Entra ID, Viva Connections, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Clarity, and Viva Engage. Site provisioning can extend across SharePoint, Teams, and Viva Engage communities, while analytics are supported through Microsoft Clarity integration. This makes the product a focused choice for Microsoft 365 environments rather than a platform intended to sit outside that ecosystem.

The pricing structure offers distinct operating models. The Perpetual plan is bought once, has no ongoing licence fees, and keeps the purchased version permanently, but that version is frozen at its release. The Annual subscription provides continuous updates and new features, includes ongoing support, and is priced by user band. Premium apps are optional add-ons, available with Core or separately, including AI search, push notifications, subscriptions, site indexing, and site provisioning. Choose Lightspeed365 when SharePoint alignment, targeted communications, and Microsoft-based administration are priorities. Organizations seeking a platform independent of Microsoft 365 should consider alternatives.
