Our verdict on Leaky Paywall

Leaky Paywall is a WordPress-based paywall and subscription platform for news publishers, magazine publishers, and other content sites. It supports metered and hard paywalls, registration walls, subscriber accounts, recurring and one-time subscription levels, and content restrictions by post type, category, tag, or individual article. Established publishers that already run WordPress and need more than basic article gating are the clearest fit, particularly those managing subscriptions, free registration, or print circulation alongside digital content.

Pricing is structured around Pro, Pro + Flowletter, and Enterprise. Pro costs $299 per month and includes 50+ premium revenue extensions, a List Builder registration wall, AI Subscriber Insights, print circulation integrations, and CRM integrations. A one-time Pro setup fee is listed at $750. Pro + Flowletter costs $499 per month and adds the Flowletter newsletter platform, FastPass auto-login, automatic subscriber segmentation, setup, and newsletter template design; its one-time setup fee is $999. Both Pro and Pro + Flowletter include a 5% revenue share on new subscribers.
