A spreadsheet-driven label editor with bulk generation, barcode formats and team controls.

Labelic is a browser-based label design and printing service for businesses and teams that need to create labels, including variable-data runs. Its visual editor combines text, images, shapes, tables, QR codes and barcodes, with editable templates and label-regulation guidance assistants. Teams can import spreadsheet rows for bulk generation and share workspaces with roles and permissions. It suits label workflows that need more than a single static design, particularly when Zebra ZPL output matters.
Spreadsheet import and output choices are central strengths. Excel and CSV data can drive variable labels in bulk; the editor supports QR codes and 28 barcode formats. Designs can be exported as PDFs for printable sheets, including Avery layouts, while labels can also be exported as ZPL for compatible Zebra printers or as PNG and SVG. A REST API and SDK are available for integration workflows, but no prebuilt integrations are listed. Buyers with a specific connected system should assess whether the API approach fits their workflow rather than assume a ready-made connector.
According to the vendor’s pricing page, Labelic costs €19 per user per month when billed annually, and includes unlimited printers, barcode and QR types, spreadsheet imports, API access, team spaces, version history and approvals. The page says all features are free during the open beta, with paid plans activating after it ends; the separate free tools are no-sign-up QR and barcode generators and a label size calculator, not a permanent free tier for the full product. Enterprise adds priority support with a defined uptime SLA, an activity log and team-wide two-step login. Since the editor requires internet access, teams needing browser-based design should consider Labelic; those requiring offline editing or ready-listed integrations may prefer an alternative. Exported files can be used offline.
Labelic pros and cons
- Where it wins
- Create bulk variable-data labels from Excel and CSV rows.
- Export label sheets as PDF and designs as ZPL, SVG or PNG.
- Manage shared workspaces with roles, approvals and version history.
- Where it doesn't
- The editor requires an internet connection.
- The full product has no permanent free plan; paid plans activate after beta.
- No integrations are listed, so API and SDK workflows may need development.
