Kumullus is an online authoring tool for learning designers, training managers, and organizations creating employee or other training content. It turns PowerPoint, PDF, image, and video materials into educational videos, or lets authors create video in the tool. Authors can arrange courses into chapters and branching scenarios, then add hotspots, quizzes, games, knowledge checks, and animated image, text, button, or audio overlays. The result can be exported as SCORM or published on the web, making Kumullus a fit for teams that want video to be an interactive course rather than a passive lesson.

Its plans are paid, and a 14-day free trial is offered. The listed plan families are Pro, Advanced, Ultimate, and Infinite, with versions for Education & Freelancers and for Companies. Pro highlights unlimited media storage, chat and email support, branching scenarios, and AI subtitling and translation. Advanced highlights branching and web publishing by link, embed, or QR code, with statistics. Ultimate adds the video studio with screencast and overlays alongside web publishing; Infinite highlights the video studio and a mobile capture app. Unlimited SCORM exports appear across the listed plans. The feature differences make plan choice relevant to whether a team needs web publication, studio recording, or mobile capture.

Kumullus is strongest when interactive video is central to the learning format: its combination of branching, activities, overlays, AI-generated subtitles and translations, and SCORM exports supports more than simple video hosting. Microsoft Office, Genially, Synthesia, Typeform, Vimeo, Kahoot, and several image and video libraries are listed integrations. Web, iOS, and Android are supported, and the product lists GDPR compliance. Teams primarily seeking a text-first authoring workflow may prefer a tool centered on that format; Kumullus makes the most sense for teams building video-led learning and able to select a plan that fits their publishing and recording needs.
