KoopDesk is an open-source, self-hosted management system for coworking operators who need to coordinate memberships, desks, and private offices in one web application. Its live interactive floor plan displays seat availability, while reservation tools cover desks and private offices. Membership plans can run on monthly or yearly cycles, with subscription invoice generation and EU e-invoicing exports in PDF and UBL XML formats. The software is single-tenant and uses SQLite-based storage with file-based backups.

The clearest strength is its focus on coworking operations rather than general-purpose room scheduling. Operators can combine space visibility, reservations, recurring memberships, and invoicing in a workflow shaped around ongoing member relationships. Optional Stripe card payments extend that workflow, and HMAC-signed webhooks can communicate member, invoice, and reservation events to other systems. This makes KoopDesk a practical fit for teams that want control over deployment and a focused operating model for desks and private offices.

Its ecosystem is intentionally narrow. The published integrations are Stripe and webhooks, and the product does not provide verified room booking, calendar integration, check-in, or single sign-on. That limits its fit for organizations managing meeting rooms, external calendars, front-desk arrival flows, or centralized identity requirements. Choose KoopDesk when self-hosting, open-source licensing, floor-plan visibility, and coworking memberships matter most; choose an alternative when room scheduling and broader workplace integrations are central requirements.
