KLANG:app is a free control application for KLANG immersive in-ear mixing processors. It is aimed at musicians and sound engineers working in live sound, touring, house of worship, theatre, studio and broadcast environments. The app provides integrated faders and panning controls, mix and processor management, and signal placement in stereo, 3D and i3D spaces. It also supports show files, snapshots and mix presets, giving teams a way to organize recurring or prepared mixes.

Its strongest use case is offline preparation. The editor allows show work before the system is connected, while multitrack demo mode provides playback without KLANG hardware. Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity support system access, and OSC-based remote control extends operation through a supported control workflow. The app runs across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, which gives teams several platform options for preparation and control. Integration support includes OSC, DiGiCo consoles and SSL Live consoles.

The main boundary is hardware dependence. Although the application is free and its editor and demo mode can operate without hardware, full processor control requires compatible KLANG hardware. That makes KLANG:app a focused choice for users building or operating an immersive KLANG system rather than a general-purpose audio mixer for unrelated hardware. Choose it when offline show preparation, spatial placement and KLANG processor management are priorities. Consider another tool if you need a standalone mixing environment that does not depend on KLANG processors or compatible console workflows.
