Kero is an AI study workspace for students who want to turn their own course material into study aids and practice. It accepts documents, videos, websites, links, and pasted text, then supports structured summaries, source-based notes, and chat with uploaded material. Its web workspace and iPhone app give learners two ways to access those tools, while the iOS focus makes it a better fit for iPhone users than learners who need mobile apps across platforms.

The strongest fit is its range of practice formats grounded in imported material. Students can generate flashcards and multiple-choice quizzes with explanations, as well as fill-in-the-blank exercises and open-ended exam practice with expected key points. Kero also provides step-by-step explanations for questions or images. This makes it more than a summarizer: it is suited to learners who want to move from reviewing source material to recalling and applying it. Those who mainly need a general-purpose note-taking tool may not need this study-specific set of formats.

Kero lists a Free plan with AI study app access and two paid in-app purchase plans, Kero Pro Weekly and Kero Pro Yearly, which provide Pro features. The listed plans distinguish free access from Pro access, but do not establish which particular features are reserved for Pro. Kero also includes an AI writing check that analyzes human-writing and sentence-level signals. Choose it if you want a material-grounded workflow spanning notes, chat, and varied exam practice, especially on iOS. Consider another option if you require Android mobile support or need clearly itemized plan-by-plan feature differences before choosing a subscription.
