Kastio is a webcasting and virtual-events platform for event professionals running branded online experiences. It combines registration and watch pages, whitelabel pages and URLs, access controls, multi-room event support, audience interaction tools, realtime viewer statistics, automated captioning and on-demand playback. Small teams can use it for live programs that need controlled access, attendee communications and a polished viewing destination rather than a basic stream alone.
Pricing is offered in two formats. The Annual Plans option costs $49 per month when billed annually and includes all features, email support and capacity based on 100 live participants. The Pay Per Event option costs $199 per event day, includes 30 days for registration and pre-event testing, provides 30 days of VOD hosting, allows event days to be added as needed and has no minimum. A one-time setup fee also applies. This structure suits teams with either recurring events or occasional programs, while the 100-participant basis defines the practical audience ceiling for the annual plan.
Kastio connects with Zapier, Eventbrite, WordPress, YouTube, Vimeo and Wistia, and delivers RTMP streams through the Akamai CDN. Access can be managed with passwords, registration, email whitelists or geoblocking, while automated reminder and post-event emails support the attendee journey. Public chat, private Q&A, polls, announcements, retention statistics and curated VOD libraries add depth beyond transmission. Choose Kastio when branded presentation, audience controls and replay matter for a small webcast; larger productions should consider a service designed for audiences above 100 live viewers.
