Kahoot! is an interactive learning and engagement platform for educators, students, businesses, presenters, and social groups. Hosts can create and run live quizzes, polls, presentations, and audience Q&A, while participants join with a game PIN through web browsers and mobile apps. It fits classroom instruction, employee training, meetings, events, formative assessment, self-study, and feedback collection. The free Kahoot! Go plan supports up to 40 participants with the classic live experience and quiz and true/false question types.
Pricing follows a freemium structure. Kahoot!+ Bronze starts at $3 per month with annual billing and supports up to 50 participants, AI content creation, and reports. Silver is $7 per month with annual billing and raises the limit to 100 participants, adding feedback question types and the lecture experience. Gold is $12 per month with annual billing for up to 200 participants, all listed review and feedback question types, and advanced reports. Kahoot! One is $19 per month with annual billing for up to 800 participants, all question types, and all live game experiences.
Its feature breadth is a strong fit for hosts who want more than quiz scoring. Sessions can include polls, moderated and upvoted Q&A, anonymous nicknames, open-ended responses, word clouds, brainstorms, scales, and NPS questions. Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint imports and sync help connect presentations with interaction, while Keynote and PDF are also listed integrations. AI can assist with quizzes, presentations, and learning content. Kahoot! is a good choice for affordable, game-based engagement across common platforms; organizations regularly addressing larger audiences should review the participant limits of each paid tier before choosing it.
