A focused source of free, searchable stock photos with useful collection tools.

Kaboompics is a web-based stock photo service for designers, marketers, creators, and other users who need free imagery for personal or commercial creative projects. Its library includes thousands of photos, with standard images covered by commercial-use licensing under the Kaboompics License. The service also labels some assets Editorial Use Only, so buyers need to check the usage designation before publishing an image in a commercial context.
Discovery is a clear strength. Users can search by category, keyword, color, or orientation, then browse curated photoshoot collections for visually related images. Multiple-image selection and preview support comparison before downloading, while Batch Download lets users download multiple selected images together. This makes Kaboompics more suitable for assembling a small visual set than for finding a single image in isolation. A separate shop also offers premium stock videos and mockups as one-time digital purchases, extending the service beyond free photos without changing its core focus.
Kaboompics fits projects that need accessible stock photography and straightforward browser-based downloads. It is less suitable for teams that need an API, integrations, or a broader connected asset workflow, since the service is available through the web only and provides no API or integrations. Users should also distinguish standard commercially licensed images from Editorial Use Only assets. Choose Kaboompics for free, curated photos with detailed search and batch selection; consider another service when automated access, integrated workflows, or a wider platform ecosystem matters more than curated photo discovery.
