Just Plan It is cloud-based production scheduling software for job shops, machine shops, and other high-mix, low-volume manufacturers. It combines production planning with execution tracking, shop-floor feedback, alerts, reporting, and rescheduling. Its audience is small and midsize manufacturing businesses that need visibility across machines, employees, jobs, and resources without installing software on their own infrastructure.

The product covers both automatic and manual planning, with hybrid and visual scheduling options for different workflows. Finite and infinite capacity models support different approaches to resource planning, while simultaneous machine and employee scheduling adds labor coordination to production planning. Skill matrices, resource calendars, job routings, resource groups, and Gantt-based views extend the planning model. Shop-floor progress tracking can trigger automatic rescheduling, and the platform also includes rules, alerts, push notifications, production reports, and resource-utilization reporting. Pricing starts at $325 per plant per month, and the JPI Launch option costs $3,300 one time with a personal customer success manager, video academy access, individual coaching, and go-live sessions. A 30-day trial is available.

Just Plan It is available through the web and API, with Excel import and export plus a production scheduling API. Listed integrations include Microsoft Dynamics GP, Infor, Sage, Strumis, JobBOSS, Fishbowl, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, Shoptech, iSync, NetSuite, and QuickBooks. Subscription plans include scheduling, execution, messaging, and unlimited viewers and operators. This makes it a strong fit for plants that need broad connections between scheduling and existing business systems. Teams looking only for basic calendar scheduling may prefer a narrower tool, while manufacturers needing machine, labor, skills, capacity, and shop-floor coordination should find the wider feature set more relevant.
