JoomlaLMS is a learning management system built as a Joomla CMS component. It is designed for course businesses, corporate training teams, startups, and educational providers that need structured course delivery, learner enrollment, assessments, reporting, certificates, and course commerce. Learners can access courses, grades, announcements, and certificates through web, iOS, and Android platforms. The open-source product is available as either a hosted cloud service or a self-hosted Joomla component.

Pricing spans a 30-day trial, monthly cloud plans, and annual on-premise editions. Cloud Standard costs $49 per month and includes a hosted cloud LMS with Joomla CMS and hosting included. Cloud Professional costs $89 per month and adds the Professional edition. On-premise Standard costs $399 per year, while On-premise Professional costs $999 per year. The published plans show separate Standard and Professional editions across the cloud and self-hosted options, giving Joomla teams a choice between managed hosting and operating the component themselves.

Its feature set covers course creation and delivery, SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC, quizzes, tests, surveys, question pools, custom grading, learner progress reporting, certificates, groups, enrollment, and user management. Commerce tools include course sales, invoices, coupons, and recurring payments. Communications include announcements, mailbox, email notifications, and forums. LTI integrations support single sign-on with connected tools, and listed integrations include GoToMeeting, VirtueMart, Community Builder, JomSocial, and LTI-compatible tools. JoomlaLMS fits organizations already committed to Joomla and needing commerce plus structured training features. Teams seeking broader integration or API coverage should consider an alternative.
