JioNews review
A free multilingual news app that combines live coverage, publications and offline reading.

JioNews brings together breaking news, live updates, TV news channels, newspapers, digital magazines, videos and photo stories in an app and website. It is aimed at readers who want several kinds of news and publication content in one place, including people who prefer to read in different languages. Personalization helps readers discover stories matching their interests, while text-to-speech offers another way to follow articles. The service is available on web, iOS and Android, with cloud and mobile deployment; its fit is strongest for individual readers and small-scale use.
The product’s breadth is its main distinction: readers can move between live news, publications and visual stories, rather than relying on a single format. Newspaper and magazine downloads support offline reading, and JioNews offers news in 13+ languages. That combination may suit readers who want a varied feed and publications to read when offline. It is less compelling for someone seeking only a focused news source or a publication-specific reading experience.
JioNews is described as free, but premium access depends on eligible Jio plans or available offerings. Jio users have premium access, while non-Jio users can access app features during a trial period. The published information does not give a standalone subscription price or the trial’s duration, so readers should check the applicable Jio offering before relying on continued access. Choose JioNews if free access through an eligible offering and a mix of languages, live coverage and offline publications fit your needs; consider another service if you need a clearly priced standalone subscription.
