JewelBeetle is a Windows desktop application for professional jewelry designers who need focused 3D construction tools alongside Rhino. Its specialized workflow covers gemstone creation and placement, bezel and setting construction, ring resizing, visualization, metal calculations, and STL-based prototyping. The software is aimed at teams producing detailed jewelry models rather than users seeking a general-purpose design application.

The feature depth is concentrated in jewelry production. Gem builders provide controls for length, width, and depth, while placement tools position gems on curves and surfaces. Builders cover bezels, under-bezels, heads, gallery rails, prongs, channels, micro-settings, finger rails, outside finger rails, and signet work. A ring resizer handles increasing or decreasing ring sizes. The integrated Bella rendering engine adds jewelry materials and finishes, and turntable animation can be exported as MP4. Metal weight and spot-price calculations support estimation work, while the project panel keeps models, STL files, images, PDFs, and other project files together.

Pricing is a significant consideration because JewelBeetle requires Rhino. The JewelBeetle 3D Jewelry Design Studio plan costs $4,995 one-time and requires a Rhino 7 or Rhino 8 license. The plan with a Rhino 8 upgrade costs $5,545 one-time, while the plan with Full Rhino 8 costs $5,845 one-time. A two-week trial is available by contacting the vendor, and trial renders carry a watermark. Choose JewelBeetle if your team already works in Rhino and needs dedicated jewelry builders, rendering, calculations, and prototyping support. It is less suitable for teams needing macOS support, a standalone Rhino-free workflow, or a lower upfront cost.
