Jell review
A flexible standup tool with strong Slack, Teams, mobile, and reporting coverage.

Jell is a cloud-based collaboration tool for distributed and remote teams that want structured asynchronous standups without requiring everyone to meet live. Teams can create custom questions, question types, schedules, and frequencies, while members submit updates through the web, iOS, Android, Slack, or Microsoft Teams. Shared comments, likes, reports, and goal tracking add context beyond a basic daily check-in.
The paid plans are organized around workflow depth. Essentials costs 5 per user per month with monthly billing or 4 per user per month with annual billing, and includes automated reminders, check-in templates, custom check-ins, and Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations. Advanced costs 10 per user per month monthly or 8 per user per month annually, adding Goals and OKRs and private teams. Enterprise includes custom check-ins, integrations, Goals and OKRs, private teams, and a dedicated customer success manager. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no permanent free plan.
Jell fits teams that already work in chat and project tools. Slack and Microsoft Teams bots can handle standup publishing, while Jira issue search and linking connects updates with planned work; GitHub, GitLab, Trello, Clubhouse, FogBugz, and Pivotal Tracker are also listed integrations. Its mobile apps and reporting make it suitable for distributed teams that need updates across locations and devices. Choose Jell when customizable check-ins, goals, reports, and broad platform coverage matter. Teams seeking a permanently free standup product or a simpler, narrower check-in workflow should look elsewhere.
