Jam Maestro is an iOS composition tool for musicians creating, sequencing, and playing back guitar, bass, and drum tablature. It is aimed at guitar-centric songwriting and arrangement rather than guitar instruction, with support for up to 16 instruments, custom tunings, seven-string guitar, playback, and MIDI sequencing. The full version is paid, with no free plan, and the developer also links to a separate Lite version.

Its strongest area is multitrack composition within the iOS ecosystem. Users can combine guitar, bass, drums, MIDI, and Inter-App Audio instruments, create custom drum kits with imported samples, and connect workflows through MIDI, Inter-App Audio, Audiobus, AudioCopy, Ableton Link, and Dropbox. Import support includes Guitar Pro 3–5 and MIDI files, while export options include MIDI, PDF/TXT tabs, WAV, and M4A. That combination gives songwriters several ways to move arrangements into audio, tab, and sequencing workflows.

Jam Mode adds a more distinctive performance workflow by recording performances and transcribing notes to tab. Custom tunings, key analysis, and seven-string support further suit guitar-focused arrangements. The main trade-off is scope: the app is iOS-only and centers on tablature rather than broader notation. Musicians who want an iOS-first environment for layered guitar composition, MIDI control, and audio-connected sequencing should consider it. Those needing cross-platform access or notation beyond tablature should choose an alternative.
