Intershop Commerce Platform is a B2B ecommerce platform for manufacturers, wholesalers, holding companies and other organizations with complex catalogs, pricing and purchasing processes. It brings together commerce management, product information management, content management, customer portals, order management, search, recommendations and integrations. Its feature set is suited to organizations selling across multiple channels, markets or customer groups, especially where procurement workflows, approvals and customer-specific assortments matter.

Intershop follows a contact-sales pricing model rather than publishing plan-based prices. The platform is available through cloud infrastructure and OnPrem or self-operated deployment options, giving organizations a choice of operating model. Its scope includes B2B catalog and pricing management, quoting, approvals, abandoned-cart restoration, marketplace connectivity and product feeds. AI search, recommendations and commerce copilots are also part of the offering. This breadth fits complex commerce programs that need several capabilities in one platform, while a smaller business seeking a straightforward storefront may find the scope difficult to justify.

Integration and composability are central to the platform. Intershop supports REST APIs, headless integrations and a responsive PWA storefront, with connections for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP ERP, SAP Customer Experience, Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager, inRiver, Akeneo, PayPal, Adyen, Elasticsearch, Algolia, Cloudinary, Mirakl and ChannelEngine. That ecosystem supports enterprise commerce architectures spanning business systems, product data, payments, search and marketplaces. Choose Intershop when complex B2B operations, multi-locale commerce and integration depth are priorities; consider a narrower ecommerce platform when the requirement is limited to basic catalog, checkout and storefront management.
