Inovideo review
A capable downloader for subtitle-focused users, but paid-only and desktop-limited.

Inovideo is desktop software for downloading online videos and audio on Windows and macOS. It supports YouTube and 1,000+ other video websites, including Vimeo, TED, CNN, Facebook, SoundCloud, Dailymotion, and Instagram. Its strongest fit is for users who need more than a single video download, especially playlist processing, batch downloads, subtitle extraction, or audio downloads up to 320 kbps. Video downloads can reach 8K resolution, while Windows supports MP4, MP3, and WEBM exports.
The pricing structure is paid-only, with a 15-day trial available. Monthly subscriptions cost $14.95 per PC for Windows or per Mac for macOS, and include automatic monthly renewal. Annual subscriptions cost $39.95 per PC or Mac, with automatic annual renewal. Family licenses cost $59.95 as a one-time purchase for either platform and include free lifetime updates. The published pricing information also uses lifetime-license wording alongside annual-renewal wording in one section, so buyers should review the license terms before choosing a family plan.
Subtitle handling is the clearest point of differentiation. Inovideo detects and downloads subtitles and exports them in VTT, TTML, and SRV formats, making it a practical choice for users who need subtitle files alongside downloaded media. Playlist and batch support add useful breadth for larger download queues. The trade-offs are equally clear: there is no free plan, the trial lasts 15 days, and the software is limited to Windows and macOS. Users seeking detailed subtitle downloads on a supported desktop platform should consider Inovideo; those needing broader platform coverage or a free option should look elsewhere.
