Infinity for Reddit is an Android app for browsing and participating in Reddit communities. Its mix of account switching, custom feeds, and post filters makes it a fit for people who want more control over how they browse. It also covers core participation: users can vote, save posts, write or edit comments, and submit or edit text, link, image, and video posts. Those who only need anonymous browsing can access a limited mode without a subscription, while people who want to sign in should account for the subscription requirement.
Feed and presentation controls are a central part of the app. Users can create custom feeds from subreddits, filter posts by keyword, flair, or author, and choose compact, card, or gallery layouts. Anonymous mode includes local saving, hiding, and read tracking. The project’s source code is published under the AGPL-3.0 license, which may matter to buyers who value an open-source client. These options suit readers who want to shape their feeds and interface, rather than a minimal Reddit viewer.
The main trade-off is access to account features: according to the Google Play listing, login and account features require a subscription, but the listing does not show its price. Limited anonymous browsing is available without subscribing, though the listing cautions that it may occasionally fail to load content. The project’s releases page shows ongoing releases, including v8.3.3. Infinity is a reasonable fit for Android users who prioritize account and feed customization and are comfortable with the subscription condition; those seeking reliable free account access or a client on another platform should look elsewhere.
