IELTS-Prep.ai review
A free, web-based four-skill IELTS practice app with AI feedback and mock exams.

IELTS-Prep.ai is a web-based preparation platform for learners working toward Academic or General IELTS. It combines practice questions with speaking and writing activities, AI scoring and feedback, sample responses, vocabulary resources, full-length mock exams, and performance history. The app is designed for self-guided study rather than teacher-led preparation, making it a fit for independent learners who want to practise all four skills in one place.
The freemium model gives learners access to free practice content, while the paid Pro Membership provides broader access to study resources. The product does not present a live teaching layer: there are no tutors, classroom lessons, or instructor-led sessions. Its strongest differentiator is the combination of speaking practice across all three speaking parts with writing practice for Task 1 and Task 2, supported by AI scoring and feedback. Sample responses at multiple quality levels add a reference point when reviewing written and spoken performance.
IELTS-Prep.ai has a focused scope and useful coverage for learners who want repeated practice, mock exams, vocabulary work, and progress views without committing to a classroom program. Its web-only format may suit desktop study, but it offers less flexibility for learners seeking a dedicated mobile experience, integrated study tools, or a structured plan that maps preparation from start to finish. Choose it for accessible, self-directed IELTS practice with AI-assisted review. Consider a tutor-led course or a more structured prep platform if accountability, personalised teaching, or a broader learning ecosystem matters more than independent practice.
