HyperCam is desktop screen-recording software for Windows from Solveig Multimedia. It is aimed at people recording webinars, games, tutorials, presentations, demonstrations, and other computer activity. Capture can cover the full screen or a window region, while webcam video can be recorded with the screen or separately. System audio and microphone recording are supported, and recordings can be saved in formats including MP4, AVI, WMV, and ASF.
The published plans show Home Edition and Business Edition options, both covering core recording functions such as desktop and webcam capture, system audio and microphone recording, MP4 output, and the Media Editor. HyperCam has no free plan and offers a 7-day trial. Its strongest differentiator is configurability: users can select video codecs and output formats, customize recording hotkeys, add on-screen notes, shapes, text, timers, and macros, and capture screenshots. The built-in editor supports trimming, joining, and voiceover additions.
HyperCam’s platform fit is focused rather than broad. It is documented for Windows, includes a portable installation mode, and has no verified integrations for connecting recordings to other services. That makes it more suitable for users who want local control over capture settings and editing than for teams building a connected, browser-based video workflow. Choose HyperCam if configurable Windows capture, webcam and audio support, and built-in editing matter more than cross-platform access or integrations. Consider an alternative if you need a free plan, broader platform coverage, or a larger connected ecosystem.
