HookSounds is a stock-audio library for creators, freelancers, agencies and businesses. It offers royalty-free music, sound effects and intros through subscriptions or single-track licenses, with downloads in WAV and MP3 formats. Social-channel whitelisting, music versions, loops, cuts and length variations support content production across online video, social media and podcasts. A free Use & Mention license covers personal, non-commercial use with attribution, while paid plans extend usage rights and access to additional features.
The published annual plans start with Creator at $119.88 per user per year, equivalent to $9.99 per month when billed annually. Creator includes full access to music, SFX and intros, social and online video coverage, music versions, loops and cuts, plus 25 AI Studio minutes per month. Pro costs $239.88 per user per year and adds online ads, website use, product reels and demos, client work in unlimited channels, and 100 AI Studio minutes. Business is $479.88 per year and adds commercial spaces, internal use, events, company-wide online channels, five user seats and 200 AI Studio minutes. Enterprise adds broadcast, OTT, software, games, unlimited seats, API integration and custom license terms.
Platform fit is a clear strength. HookSounds lists integrations or coverage for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitch, Spotify, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Discord, SoundCloud, Netflix and Hulu, and offers web and API access. AI Studio can generate soundtrack suggestions or tracks from video content, while subscriptions provide unlimited downloads. The main tradeoff is catalog breadth: more than 5,000 tracks is substantial, but smaller than leading alternatives. Social creators and teams needing varied licensing should consider HookSounds; users seeking the broadest possible catalog or unrestricted commercial rights on the free plan should look elsewhere.
