HomeSchoolLite review
A web-based homeschool planner with curriculum scheduling, attendance records, and student task boards.

HomeSchoolLite brings curriculum planning, scheduling, attendance, and student tasks into a web-based homeschool management tool. It is aimed at families coordinating learning for one or more students, with Premium supporting up to 12 students on one account. A curriculum library can be searched by title, provider, subject, or grade; families can browse sections and lessons, set student-specific starting points, and place curriculum into a weekly timed schedule or an untimed block schedule. Attendance tracking and task boards extend the planner beyond lesson placement.
The scheduling and recordkeeping features are closely connected: families can record present, half-day, or absent attendance, view running totals, and print attendance records for selected date ranges. Customizable task boards allow tasks to be assigned to students, while individual student logins provide access to schedules and tasks and let students mark work complete. That combination suits households that want learners to take part in managing assigned work, as well as parents who need attendance records alongside lesson plans.
According to the published plan, Premium is the sole listed subscription at $9.99 per month, billed monthly. It includes the structured weekly and block schedules, curriculum search and loading, printable attendance reports, task boards, and student logins. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. HomeSchoolLite is web-only, so families seeking a mobile app or a free ongoing option should look elsewhere. It is a practical fit for families centralizing curriculum and student tasks, especially those with several learners, provided the web-only format and paid subscription work for them.
