HomeschoolHQ review
An Android homeschool dashboard for schedules, reading logs, and offline progress tracking.

HomeschoolHQ is an Android app for families organizing assignments and learning records in a homeschool day. Parents can schedule work by subject, check a daily dashboard or weekly schedule, and use custom subjects with colors and icons. Children have a PIN-protected mode for viewing and completing tasks, as well as logging reading. Its focused mobile workflow fits solo parents and small households that want a task dashboard rather than a broad school administration system.
Recordkeeping and progress tracking are central to the app. The reading log captures books, chapters, minutes, and session feedback, while progress charts show activity across subjects. PDF reports cover assignments, reading, and progress, offering a way to review or export those records. Data is stored on the device, so the app supports offline use; that may suit families who want access without relying on a connection, though it also means the described workflow is centered on the Android device.
HomeschoolHQ is paid, with a free three-day trial; Google Play indicates in-app purchases. Attendance tracking is not included, so families needing attendance records should consider a tool that explicitly supports them. The product is also limited to Android, making it a poor fit for households that need a desktop or cross-platform setup. Families looking for subject-based assignments, reading logs, progress charts, and PDF reports in an offline mobile app are the clearest match; those needing attendance management or wider platform coverage should look elsewhere.
