Homeschool Planet brings school planning and household scheduling together for families who want more than a lesson calendar. Its online planner organizes student schedules, assignments, and lesson plans, while companion apps support daily task management. Teachers, co-ops, micro-schools, and small schools have separate license options, so the product serves settings beyond a single household as well.
Planning depth is a central strength. Calendar and planner views include student schedules and auto-generated assignments, and a rescheduling helper can adjust work when plans change. Optional integrated publisher lesson plans can be scheduled and edited. Families can also record attendance and class hours, track grades with weighted grading and automatic GPA, and produce reports, report cards, transcripts, and course-description reports. Email or text reminders and daily or weekly digests help surface upcoming work. Google and Apple Calendar sync connect schedules with those calendars.
According to the published plans, the single-family monthly subscription costs $9.95 per month for full access; the annual subscription is $84.95 per year and includes a premium lesson plan each month and monthly live member meetings. The 30-day trial does not require a card, but there is no free plan. Separate annual licenses cover teachers serving up to 5, 10, or 25 students, micro-schools or co-ops up to 12 or 25 students, and schools up to 40 students. The web planner contains the full planning functionality, while iOS and Android apps are companions for daily tasks. Families seeking one place for planning and records should consider it; those who need full planning entirely in a mobile app may prefer another option.
