HiPaint brings sketching, painting, image editing and frame-by-frame animation to Android phones and tablets, with an iOS version also available. Its range of tools suits solo artists working on illustration, comics or original artwork who want a mobile workspace with more than basic drawing. Brush pressure and tilt controls, layers, selection and shape tools, color adjustments and visual guides cover both freehand work and more structured compositions.

Brush customization is a central strength: the app offers more than 100 brushes, with settings and the ability to import and export brushes. Artists can also work with layer groups and blend modes, plus vector, liquify, gradient and symmetry tools. Perspective, isometric, 2D and symmetry guides support different kinds of compositions. Frame-by-frame animation with customizable onion skinning extends HiPaint beyond still artwork. Completed pieces can be exported as JPG, PNG, PSD or HSD.

HiPaint is freemium, and Google Play identifies ads and in-app purchases; the vendor's official pages do not publish subscription prices. Projects can be backed up manually to Huawei cloud space, but this is a narrow cloud option rather than broad automatic syncing. The app is designed for mobile screens and lists email as its support channel. Choose it if you want a broad set of painting and animation tools on Android or iOS and can manage projects locally or with Huawei cloud backup. It may be a poor fit if automatic cross-platform cloud backup or a desktop workflow is essential.
