GyazMail review
A focused Mac email client with broad account support and a one-time license.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
GyazMail is a desktop email client for macOS users who want traditional account management without a recurring subscription. It supports multiple email accounts through POP3, IMAP, and SMTP, with threaded messages, HTML display, customizable panes and appearance, and address auto-completion. The current release supports macOS 10.9 or later on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, making it suited to Mac users who prefer a dedicated desktop inbox.
The product is distributed as shareware with a 40-day trial and a single License plan priced at $18 one-time. The license includes personal and machine licensing options. Its message-handling features cover search across multiple folders with multiple criteria, incoming-message rules and filters, templates, editable reply headers, and message import and export. SSL/TLS support adds encrypted connection support, while AppleScript provides an automation option for users who work within Apple's desktop ecosystem.
GyazMail also connects with Apple Address Book and SpamSieve. Its strongest fit is a Mac-only workflow centered on multiple accounts, detailed message organization, and a traditional one-time purchase. Prospective users who rely on Google accounts should choose another client, because Google accounts can no longer be accessed through GyazMail and OAuth authentication is not supported. It is therefore better suited to users whose accounts and workflow align with its supported protocols and Apple-focused integrations.
