GOautodial is an open-source, web-based contact center suite for call centers and small and medium-sized businesses. It supports predictive, preview, and manual outbound dialing alongside inbound IVR and automatic call distribution. CRM, campaign and lead management, call recording, reports, analytics, multi-language support, REST APIs, and plugin-based extensions make it suited to teams that want a broad call-center system under their own operational control. The product is released under the AGPLv2 license and is available as a free plan.

Its strongest fit is for self-hosted operations that need both outbound and inbound calling. The published feature set covers dialing modes, IVR, ACD, CRM, campaign management, recording, and reporting in one suite. Its technical ecosystem includes Asterisk, Vicidial, Kamailio, MariaDB, and WebRTC, while the API and plugin model provides additional extension options. That combination can suit organizations with technical resources and existing telephony infrastructure, particularly where control over deployment matters more than a managed service model.

The trade-off is operational scope. A self-hosted product places responsibility for deployment and ongoing administration with the adopting organization, while the documented capabilities do not include workforce management or AI. Its breadth is centered on contact-center calling and related management rather than a clearly defined workforce or AI layer. Choose GOautodial when predictive dialing, inbound call routing, open-source licensing, and extensibility are priorities. Consider another option if the operation requires documented workforce-management or AI capabilities, or prefers a product subscription rather than a self-managed deployment.

GOautodial pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Free, open-source deployment with predictive, preview, and manual dialing
    • Combines IVR, ACD, CRM, campaigns, recording, and reporting
    • REST APIs, plugins, and integrations with Asterisk and WebRTC
  • Where it doesn't
    • Self-hosted deployment requires organizations to manage their own environment
    • Workforce management and AI are not part of its documented capabilities
    • Paid professional services are separate from product subscription plans
