Geo-Tag-It is a browser-based photo geotagging service for photographers, real-estate agents, SEO agencies and other image-heavy workflows. It applies GPS coordinates and related metadata to individual images or batches, using interactive map selection, address search and autocomplete. Photos can be downloaded individually or as ZIP batches organized by location. Processing runs in the browser, making the service a fit for solo operators and small to mid-market teams that want cloud access without installing desktop software.

Pricing is split across three plans. The Free plan costs $0 per month and includes single-photo geotagging, interactive map selection, EXIF GPS metadata embedding, secure processing and auto-deletion. The one-time 7-Day Batch Pass costs $3 and adds unlimited photos for seven days, unlimited batch size with ZIP downloads, multiple-location bulk processing, and GPX and KML track synchronization. Pro costs $5 per month and adds unlimited photos per day, organized ZIP downloads, unlimited saved locations, GPX and KML synchronization, and complete geotagging history. This structure lets occasional users pay for a short batch window while recurring workflows move to a monthly plan.

Track synchronization is the standout capability. Geo-Tag-It matches GPX or KML tracks to photo timestamps, and a camera clock offset adjustment helps align files when the camera clock differs from the track time. AI Smart Location detection, reverse address lookup, and map-based selection provide additional ways to assign locations. Users needing native desktop or mobile deployment, or support beyond email, should consider another tool; Geo-Tag-It is better suited to browser-centered workflows that prioritize bulk processing, EXIF output and low entry cost.

Geo-Tag-It pros and cons

  • Where it wins

  • Where it doesn't
    • The Free plan handles single-photo geotagging only
    • The 7-Day Batch Pass is limited to a seven-day period
    • Web deployment and email support may not suit every team
