Ganty is a cloud, browser-based project planning tool centered on interactive Gantt charts. It suits solo users and teams that need to organize tasks, assign work, track progress, manage subtasks, and coordinate dependencies on day-, week-, or month-level timelines. Automatic dependent-task recalculation, real-time editing, sharing, and schedule conflict detection support collaborative planning, while the published plans span solo through enterprise use cases.

Its freemium structure starts with a Free workspace at ¥0 per workspace, including task dependencies, schedule conflict detection, view-only share links, and real-time editing. Paid workspace plans add capability in stages: Standard provides unlimited projects and tasks, unlimited milestones, editable share links, and Excel and PDF export; Pro adds a unified project view, project access control, AI Gantt analysis, and priority support; Business adds audit logs, unlimited version history, and AI Gantt analysis. Monthly workspace prices are published in JPY. The web app also connects with Claude, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT.

AI is central rather than incidental: users can generate task plans and schedule suggestions, analyze Gantt structures on eligible plans, and interact with tasks through MCP-compatible assistants. The product homepage also describes an MCP calculation engine that can return critical-path values. Cross-project resource-conflict detection and a unified view give it broader portfolio visibility than a single-project timeline. Teams that need desktop or mobile deployments, or support beyond documented guidance, may prefer another tool; Ganty is a stronger fit for organizations comfortable working in a web workspace and adopting AI-assisted scheduling.

Ganty pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Automatic recalculation keeps dependent tasks aligned when schedules change.
    • AI generates task plans and suggests schedules from project descriptions.
    • Unified views detect resource conflicts across multiple projects.
  • Where it doesn't
    • Access is limited to the web platform.
    • Documentation is the listed support channel; priority support is only on Pro.
    • Advanced controls such as audit logs are reserved for higher tiers.
