G-Stomper Studio combines a pattern-based groovebox, drum machine, sampler, VA-Beast synthesizer, mixer, effects, sequencer, recorder, and sample editor in an Android app. It is aimed at solo producers and small setups making electronic music, whether arranging patterns in the studio or performing with a tablet or phone. Sampler and synthesizer tracks, automation, microphone sampling, and live-session recording support both beat construction and performance-oriented workflows.

The G-Stomper Studio plan is a paid one-time purchase. A separate free demo is available, but its track, save/load, recording, and export capabilities are limited. The full app provides up to 24 sample-based drum and sampler tracks, a 36-channel mixer with per-channel insert effects, 47 effect types, side-chain routing, and effect racks. Its pattern/song arranger handles up to 64 concurrent patterns, while the VA-Beast adds polyphonic FM and PCM synthesis. These tools give electronic producers substantial sequencing and sound-design depth without leaving the Android environment.

Connectivity centers on MIDI over USB or Bluetooth LE and Ableton Link synchronization. Real-time session recording can be exported as WAV, and MIDI export supports movement into other production setups. The app supports both tablet landscape and portrait layouts, with audio editing and microphone sample recording included alongside the groovebox features. Its narrow platform and electronic-production emphasis are important boundaries: choose it for Android-based beats, synthesis, pattern arranging, and live sessions, but look elsewhere for desktop or iOS deployment, podcast tooling, or a broader general-purpose audio editor.

G-Stomper Studio pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Up to 24 tracks, 36 mixer channels, and 64 concurrent patterns
    • VA-Beast supports FM, PCM, polyphonic synthesis, and grid sequencing
    • 47 effects, side-chain support, MIDI, Ableton Link, and WAV export
  • Where it doesn't
    • The full Studio app is paid rather than free
    • Android-only deployment limits desktop and iOS workflows
    • Its beat-production focus is narrower than general audio editing
