France 24 is an international news service and mobile app from France Médias Monde, for readers and viewers who want international reporting in French, English, Spanish or Arabic. It combines articles and analysis with live television, bulletins, reports and programs. The service is available on the web, iOS and Android, making it a fit for people who want to read or watch news across devices without paying for access.
Its strongest distinction is the mix of live and on-demand video. France 24 offers 24/7 live news coverage and a live television stream, alongside on-demand news bulletins, programs, video reports and magazine programs. That gives viewers options beyond following written stories, while articles and international analysis serve readers who prefer text. The regional and topic sections include Africa, the Americas, business and sport. This is a publisher's own news service, so it suits users seeking France 24's coverage rather than a single app that brings together many publishers.
The service is free, and the published app listings describe it as free to download; no paywall access is indicated. Its four language editions and availability on web and mobile make it useful for multilingual international coverage. The trade-off is its narrower scope as a news publisher: readers looking for a broad magazine catalog or a cross-publisher news aggregator may prefer another app. Support is offered by email. Choose France 24 for free reporting, live TV and on-demand programs across four languages; look elsewhere if a varied publisher mix is the priority.
