Fonix RichMessaging review
A payment-enabled RCS API for branded messaging, analytics and fallback journeys.

Fonix RichMessaging is an RCS Business Messaging solution for brands, broadcasters, charities and other organisations. It supports branded and verified business profiles, rich media, interactive content, carousels, maps, games and quick replies inside native messaging apps. The service is aimed at customer engagement, marketing campaigns, audience interaction and payment-enabled journeys, with access provided through Fonix’s messaging infrastructure and API.
Payments are the product’s clearest point of distinction. Built-in payment links and integrated payment flows let organisations connect messaging with commercial journeys, while support for preferred payment service providers adds flexibility around payment infrastructure. Real-time delivery, engagement and conversion analytics provide measurement across campaigns. PayFlex fallback technology is also designed for messaging journeys, giving the product a broader path through payment and message delivery use cases than a basic rich-media messaging API.
The platform connects with CRM and competition platforms, making it relevant for organisations that already manage customer or audience workflows through external systems. Its API-only access method means buyers need a technical integration path rather than a self-service signup experience, and commercial discussions go through Fonix. RichMessaging is a strong fit for API users that want branded RCS, interactive formats and payments in one messaging service. Organisations seeking a standalone, self-serve campaign tool or a narrowly focused messaging product may prefer a different approach.
