Flashcards Space review
An iOS language flashcard app with AI creation, spaced review, and offline study.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
For individual language learners who prefer studying on an iPhone or iPad, Flashcards Space combines flashcard creation and review in one app. Learners describe a topic or situation to generate language cards, then use spaced repetition to schedule reviews. AI chat can answer questions and explain cards during review, while pronunciation playback and voice input with transcription add ways to engage with the material beyond reading it. Progress, review history, and recall summaries help track study activity.
Offline study with sync across Apple devices is a meaningful fit for learners who want to review without a constant connection while keeping their study state aligned across Apple devices. The app also accepts imports from Quizlet URLs and Anki decks, which can make it easier to bring existing cards into its review workflow. Its integrations include ChatGPT, Quizlet, and Anki; the product is still specifically an iOS app rather than a broader cross-platform study environment. Learners who need Android, web, or desktop access should look elsewhere for now.
The published plan is Pro, a paid subscription that includes all features and unlimited learning, with a 7-day free trial. According to the vendor's site, subscription pricing is localized and shown in the App Store before subscribing, so the purchase decision depends on the price presented there. There is no free plan. Flashcards Space is a focused option for solo learners who value AI-assisted language cards, offline review, and imported decks; it is less suitable for learners who require another platform or a free ongoing tier.
