FeatureCat is a web-based feedback collection and feature-management tool for software teams. Its embeddable or standalone public board lets customers submit ideas, vote on requests, comment, and discuss proposals. Teams can organize features and artifacts, track request origins, segment users, communicate feature status through roadmaps, and publish changelog updates. It fits solo developers through enterprise teams that want a customer-facing feedback process connected to product planning.

The published monthly plans start with Starter at $0 per month, including a public board for feedback and feature voting. Starter has no time limit or credit-card requirement, but supports up to 1,000 interacting users. Indie costs $15 per month and adds user comments, while Team costs $45 per month and includes everything from Indie. Enterprise includes everything from Team plus premium support. Annual plan listings include the same plan names and receive two months free. This structure gives smaller teams a usable entry point, with discussion and higher-touch support reserved for paid tiers.

FeatureCat supports web and API access, with tokenized URLs, JWT, a JavaScript SDK, and backend authentication options for integrating feedback into an existing product without a separate user login. User segmentation can use usage, device, revenue, and metadata, while feature linking helps prevent duplicate submissions. Brand customization includes light and dark themes, and support is available through email and chat. GDPR compliance and SSO support are listed. Teams needing self-hosting should look elsewhere, and Starter may be too constrained for communities above its user limit; teams prioritizing embedded feedback, segmentation, and request organization should find the product a closer fit.
