Famnly is a shared family calendar app for households, parents, children, and co-parents using iPhone or iPad. Its core calendar uses color-coded columns with week, day, month, and year views, event locations, maps, push reminders, comments, birthday tracking, and home-screen widgets. Families can also organize members, pets, and places in one calendar, while child accounts and optional kid location sharing extend its household focus.
The main distinction is breadth. Famnly Pro adds unlimited family members and invitations, synchronization with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple Calendar, and ICS calendar feeds, plus a chore tracker with points, rewards, streaks, and allowance rules. Its planning tools continue into AI meal planning with automatic grocery lists, shared grocery lists with shopping focus mode, and a vacation planner with a visual timeline. Push-to-talk AI event capture provides another way to add events, while scheduled chore notifications support recurring household responsibilities.
Pricing follows a freemium model. The Free plan includes the family calendar, one managed member, multiple calendar views, event locations and maps, and push reminders. Famnly Pro costs $5.99 per month or $39.99 per year and adds the broader family and planning features. A 7-day free trial is available. Famnly is a strong fit for iPhone households that want calendars alongside chores, meals, shopping, and travel planning in one app. Families needing Android support or only a simple shared calendar should choose a narrower alternative, while households that want the full coordination set have more reason to consider Pro.
