Fami review
Fami brings family scheduling, chores, meals, shopping, and budgeting into one app.

Fami is a family organizer for households that need more than a shared calendar. It combines a color-coded family calendar with recurring chores, rewards, shopping lists, meal planning, budgeting, saved places, and a child-focused Kid Mode. Families can assign chores by member, day, and rotation, track completion, and connect rewards with allowance balances. The product is available on the web, iOS, and Android, making it suited to households coordinating across different devices.
Its pricing keeps the core organizer accessible. The Free plan includes the shared calendar, chores, shopping list, family budget, and family places. Premium costs $4.99 per month or $44.99 per year and adds AI meal suggestions and advanced task tools. A 7-day free trial is available. The paid tier is most relevant for families that want meal planning based on household preferences, plus more capable task management; households focused on calendars, chores, shopping, and budgeting can start with the Free plan.
Fami’s strongest distinction is the way meal planning connects to shopping. A meal plan can be converted into a shared shopping list, where items include member tags for coordination. Google Calendar and device calendar integrations support calendar-based workflows, while saved family places provide one-tap directions without live location tracking. Families seeking a combined household system should consider Fami, particularly if chores and meals matter alongside scheduling. It is a less suitable choice for households specifically seeking live location sharing or a calendar-only app with a narrower scope.
