Fadr is a web-based music technology service for musicians, producers, DJs and other creators who need to separate songs and work with the resulting audio. Its tools cover vocals, bass, drums, melodies and instrumental stems, alongside MIDI, chord progression, key and tempo detection and remix creation. A free Basic plan makes it possible to start with basic stem separation, MP3 downloads, MIDI detection and Remix Maker; paid Plus is for users who need more detailed separation and workflow options.
The main distinction between the plans is the depth of stem output and access to production tools. Fadr Plus is listed at $10 USD per month and includes 18 stem types, uploads of up to one hour, WAV downloads, a DAW Stems Plugin and API access. Its listed stem types extend to lead and background vocals; kick, snare and other drums; and piano, guitar, strings, wind and other melodies. The Stems Guide states a 200 MB upload limit, while the Plus page describes paid uploads of up to one hour. Choose Plus when those subdivisions, lossless WAV files or programmatic access are part of the workflow; Basic covers a more limited starting set.
Fadr also suits creators moving between browser-based work, compatible DAWs and custom tools. The plugin works with VST3- and Audio Unit-compatible DAWs, and the API supports programmatic stem separation. That breadth is useful for remixing and production workflows that combine separation with musical analysis, rather than for buyers seeking only a single-purpose separation tool. Pick Fadr if its range of stem types, detection tools and remix features fit the job; consider another option if you need capabilities beyond the listed plans or plugin compatibility.
