Facetra is an AI jewellery design workflow for Indian jewellery ateliers, designers and students. It converts sketches, reference images and CAD screenshots into photorealistic renders, silhouette-locked views at 0°, 45°, 90° and 180°, CAD-ready references, bills of materials and 3D meshes. Its style libraries cover Kundan, Jadau, Polki, Diamond, Temple and Meenakari, while photo touch-up, catalog composition, portfolio exports and lasso-based refinement support presentation work. The browser-based platform fits teams that need visual concepts and production references before detailed CAD work.

Starter is listed at INR 1,500 one-time and includes Indian style presets, multi-view and lasso refinement, portfolio and lookbook export, and credits that never expire. Studio adds a Bill-of-Materials estimator and CAD starter kit export in .3dm and STL. Atelier adds bulk client portfolios and priority support. Team introduces shared catalog folders, a lead-controlled wallet and roster, plus ZIP and multi-format exports. Enterprise adds workspace ROI analytics, watermarks, brand templates and batch composition. Custom top-ups allow any number of credits, delivered instantly without expiration.

The strongest fit is visualization-to-handoff: Facetra can produce bare-metal references, live-rate material estimates, component detection, automatic splitting and mesh exports for workflows involving Rhino, MatrixGold or JewelCAD. However, the published positioning keeps it upstream of full CAD, and the 3D output may require retopology by a CAD operator before casting. The v0.9 preview label also places emphasis on its current design-reference role. Choose Facetra when photoreal concepts, Indian style exploration, catalog assets and early manufacturing references matter most; choose a full CAD application when parametric modeling, production control or ring sizing is central.

Facetra pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Photorealistic, silhouette-locked multi-view renders
    • CAD starter exports, meshes, and BOM estimation
    • Indian jewelry style libraries and regional refinement
  • Where it doesn't
    • 3D output may need CAD retopology before casting
    • Not positioned as a replacement for full CAD software
    • No verified parametric modeling or ring sizing
