EZTitles is professional desktop software for creating, translating, validating and exporting subtitles and captions. It is aimed at broadcasters, streaming suppliers, post-production studios, accessibility providers, localization teams, freelancers and independent editors. The Windows application supports frame-accurate spotting against shot changes, dialogue and audio, multi-track subtitle editing, and delivery across more than 80 subtitle and caption formats. It can operate locally or fully offline, with optional AI-assisted speech recognition and machine translation. The vendor dates to 2003.

Pricing is structured around short-term, monthly and lifetime licensing. EZTitles One costs €30 per week and includes a Single Project Wizard, Speech to Text, Translation, and open subtitles, closed captions and timed text formats. Essentials costs €80 per month and adds Basic Open Subtitles, Speech to Text and Translation. Standard costs €90 per month and adds Basic and Advanced Open Subtitles, Closed Captions and Timed Text Formats. Ultimate costs €100 per month and adds authoring systems and Blu-ray, DVB Subtitles Export and Speech to Text. Essentials Lifetime, Standard Lifetime and Ultimate Lifetime provide lifetime licenses with different feature scopes. There is no free plan.

Its strongest fit is production work that needs precise timing, technical checks and flexible delivery. Automated quality control covers reading speed, duration, gaps, overlaps and layout, while speech recognition, speaker diarization and speaker-change detection can support caption creation. Translation is available through DeepL and Google Translate. Exports include SRT and WebVTT, and integrations include FFmpeg, ProMedia Carbon and Manzanita MP2TSME. Offline and air-gapped operation suits controlled environments. Choose EZTitles for professional Windows workflows requiring subtitle depth and local production; choose an alternative if you need macOS support, a free tier or a lower-cost entry point.
